Here is a recipe that I have made for some classes.
(tastes like Key Lime Pie....so YUMMY!!)
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
Lime essential oil
Have all ingredients at room temperature. Mix cream cheese first then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix until creamy and smooth. Add 4-7 drops of lime essential oil. Pour into a 9'' graham cracker crust. Chill and serve!Graham Cracker Crust
Crush graham crackers and add melted butter. Mix well and pat into pan.
Now the lime oil is hard to taste while you are making the cheesecake, I have found. After it has had time to set and chill, the flavor will really come out. So it really depends on how strong you like the flavor. I usually add about 6-7 drops I think and it is pretty strong flavor after it has chilled. So you might just have to try it once or twice and see what kind of flavor you like! :) It is so yummy!
