A Natural Pharmacy

I got this email from a lady I met at one of my classes I was teaching and thought I'd share. It isn't about essential oils, but it is about being natural and healthy and taking care of our bodies. I found it very INTERESTING and hope you do too! Feel free to comment and tell me what you learned by reading it. :)
They have extended the free Immortelle to any 200pv order! So get it in fast! I just got mine done and ordered and am excited to try the new oil! :) Let me know if you have any questions!

It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish.. All before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners...
God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!
God's Pharmacy! :)

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Oranges , Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

Immortelle will not be available for purchase until May 1, 2011.

This information has come straight from my email from doTERRA. I know that I am doing my best to make sure I can get this this month. So my autoship order will be 200pv. Yours should be too! If you aren't on the autoship program yet, please, talk to me about it and I'll explain all of the benefits of having an autoship. It is amazingly great what you can get. I love it!!
Also, you do have to include the skin care kit in your order. If you haven't tried this kit yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. I have sensitive skin and have tried using SO MANY different products, both expensive and cheap and this is the only one that has worked for me. I love it! It may seem expensive when you look at the price, but you only need about a pea-size amount when you wash your face, making it so you don't have to buy it all the time. I buy a new set about every 3-4 months. So it really is worth it for me to have products that work and that really aren't that expensive to me. I advise you ALL to look into it!

I'm so sorry it has been so long since I've posted. I am now due to have a baby anytime in the next 2 weeks. Plus, my daughter had her 5th birthday last week, so we've been crazy busy at our house. I promise to be better! :)

QUICK REMINDER: The more followers I get, the better the give-aways will get. So please, spread the word and let's get some good stuff rollin'! :)

My Sciatic Nerve Needed Some Balance

On Monday afternoon, my back started hurting (worse than usual, I am due in a month with my 4th child remember! Ha ha! ), by the time I got home, I literally couldn't walk because I had sharp pains on my lower right side of my back. I laid down for the rest of the evening hoping it would go away. The next morning, it was just as bad. So I did my research and realized it was probably a pinch in my sciatic nerve. From what I read on the internet, it has nothing to do with pregnancy and usually has something to do with the discs in your back being out of whack somehow. Once realizing that this was the pain I was feeling, I did more research to see what oils could help me. So Tuesday night, I handed Ryan some oils and told him where to rub. Here is what he did:
He put about 1 tbsp of fractionated coconut oil in his palm then added about 7-8 drops of peppermint oil. He used this and rubbed up and down my spine. Then he used Balance to rub on the actual spot that was hurting, where the sciatic nerve is, which was my right lower back. Then I slowly sat up and he put a drop on my wrist and rubbed the pressure points for the sciatic nerve and the spine, he did this on both hands. Then we went to bed. This morning I woke up and could walk! I really didn't feel too much pain at all! It was so nice to be able to get up and walk out of my room without grabbing on to things to help keep me up the whole way. I took a hot shower and then before Ryan went to work, I had him rub my spine again, only this time, he used Balance instead of Peppermint, with a little bit of Frankincense. Today, I haven't had much back pain at all. I am back to feeling normally, walking normally and was able to actually get things done around the house.
If you have any questions about what was done here, let me know and we'll chat it up! :) I am so glad to have these oils in my life!

The Oil Worked!

Today, I had to go to Idaho Falls for Abby's (my almost 5 year old) and get her allergy test done. It came back clear, except for one. Tobacco! Seeing as how none of us smoke and she isn't around anyone who does, there isn't much we can do about it and she will eventually outgrow it, hopefully. Whew!
My son, who is 3, had an issue with some constipation today. We weren't home and I didn't have my little purse-sized oils made up yet. All I had was Lavender, Melaleuca and Lemon in my purse. So I asked him if he wanted me to put some oil on his tummy (I always ask first so they feel like they are the ones making the choice). He, of course, said yes so I rubbed a drop of Lavender on his little tummy. A couple of hours later, I asked him how his tummy felt. He said, "Good mommy! The oil worked!" He was so excited about it, I could help but to smile and give him a high five! :) He hasn't complained about his tummy hurting since then!
After a long day of running around stores and shopping, my back is killing me- a certain point on my lower back to be more specific. So, as soon as my youngest Piper gets put in bed, I'm handing Ryan my deep blue and having him rub my back. Now, how long til Piper goes to bed?? That is the real question here. :)

My Update and a Little Tip For You!

Hello everyone! I, again, apologize for not posting for a bit. I am now 34 weeks along and life is getting crazy with the due date getting closer, my daughter's 5th birthday coming, and my semester starting next month. So, if my posts seem scarce, that would be my excuse!
I got the 3 of you the paper about the emergency kit and if you know of any other people who want one, let me know! I have plenty!
How are all of you doing with your oils? I'd love to hear from you all about any experiences you've had recently.
My daughter that I told you all about earlier who has some sort of skin issue, well, we're still struggling with it. After a lot of consulting with people who are more of an expert with the oils, I have come to the conclusion that she has some sort of allergy to SOMETHING she is eating. I tried limiting dairy and I didn't really quite see a change. My guess is that it is oranges. She absolutely loves oranges and it seems to get a little better when I took oranges out of her diet for a bit. But, just to make sure, we're going into the doctor this afternoon to get an allergy test done, or to get one scheduled. Then we can go from there. To this day, to put lotion on her skin makes it feel worse and so we only use the oils on her.
Piper, my youngest daughter, woke up with a red eye and some yucky stuff around it. So, I'm looking up now what to do for her. I'll keep you posted on what I find!
Tip of the day: Don't use baby oil or any other type of mineral oil with the essential oils. Mineral oils will actually do the opposite of what you want them to. Instead of taking the toxins out of the body, mineral oils will actually put the toxins back into the liver/kidney, etc. So, make sure you are using something like the fractionated coconut oil that doTERRA sells. Extra virgin olive oil can be used, but it acts as a time suppressant and will actually keep the oils from acting promptly, instead delaying their effects. I hope that makes sense! I just learned this this last month! I'm still learning and am happy to share what I learn. I hope everyone is doing well!

A Give Away For EVERYONE!!

I am so sorry it has been so long since I have posted! I just got back from Utah, where I was able to go into Aroma Tools and buy the latest edition of the Modern Essentials book. This book is WONDERFUL and if you don't have it yet, it is the best one to get to go along with doTERRA's oils. I had to get the mini version because they were out of the regular size, but, it is more travel size and I like it!
I was also able to pick up another carrying case for my oils. Mine came in a lovely orange color and I'm excited that now all of my oils fit in my carrying cases. No more ziploc baggies!
I also picked up a tear pad of these papers. They are the oils to have for emergencies. I would love to mail one to everyone who wants one, so, if you want one, please leave a comment saying you want one and I'll be sure to put it in the mail asap! If I don't have your address, you are more than welcome to email me at corinnehoyt@yahoo.com and give it to me so you are able to get one of these papers.
I hope everyone is doing well and love using their essential oils! Please feel free to email me with any questions. Or you can text me. If you need my number, let me know and I'll get it to you! :)
